We are excited to announce that we will be presenting, yet again, a cash Award for the ‘Best Oral Abstract’ and the ‘Best Abstract Poster’ in each of the Pure Science and General Science categories.

Abstract Guidelines
- Abstracts can be submitted for oral or poster presentation at the ASM.
- All abstracts must be submitted online.
- Abstracts may be for any type of research in gynaecological oncology. Pre-clinical studies may be better suited for the Pure Science session, however, will still be considered for the main program as well.
- Case studies will not be accepted.
- A blind review process will be conducted. You will be asked to provide author names and affiliations in the online submission process (authors must be listed in order of involvement), however please do not include this information on your Word document abstract.
- Abstracts should contain the following content sections: Background/Introduction; Objectives; Methods (including type of data collected); Results and Conclusions.
- The body of the abstract is limited to 600 words (does not include title).
- All abstracts are to be complete at time of final submission, including all data results, if any.
- There is no limit on the number of abstracts an author may submit.
- All presenters must register to attend the ASM meeting. Acceptance of abstracts into the program is contingent upon receipt of the registration fee in full (day registrations are eligible).
- The abstract submission deadline is Monday, 31 January 2022 at 5.00pm (AEDT). No extensions will be provided.
Presentation Types
Oral Presentation
Applicants whose abstracts are chosen for oral presentation are expected to either pre-record and/or present live on Wednesday 23 March for the Pure Science Symposium or on one of the conference days either Thursday 24 March, Friday 25 March, or Saturday, 26 March. The successful applicant will be advised of the date upon acceptance.
Poster Presentation
Abstracts chosen for the live poster/e-poster presentation will be displayed for the duration and up to a month post event on the virtual event platform. Poster presenters will be asked to do a short 2-minute live/pre-recorded presentation on their poster and be available to answer any questions from delegates on Wednesday, 23 March for the Pure Science Posters and on Thursday, 24 March for the General Science posters.
