Professor Clare Scott holds the Chair in Gynaecological Cancer, University of Melbourne, is Laboratory Head at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research and Medical Oncologist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Royal Women’s & Royal Melbourne Hospitals. Her clinical expertise is in gynaecological cancers, clinical cancer genetics and rare cancers. Her laboratory focuses on drug resistance in rare gynaecological cancers and she leads the Australian Rare Cancer Portal, facilitating expertise delivery to cancer specialists. She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science, and of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences and was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to gynaecological oncology.
