Professor Martin Widschwendter is Director of the Daffodil Centre at Cancer Council NSW, one of the world's leading cancer prevention and control research centres, where he drives a shift toward biology-informed precision cancer prevention. An internationally recognised pioneer of translational epigenetics, he has spent almost three decades studying how DNA methylation shapes women's cancer risk. He is the founder of the WID®-easy test, part of the WID™ platform for women’s cancer prevention, now used across Europe and the UK. A gynaecological oncology surgeon at UCLH, he previously directed UCL's Department of Women's Cancer and founded the EUTOPS Institute in Austria and Sola Diagnostics GmbH.
