Dr Nora Liu is an early-career bioinformatics postdoctoral researcher at SAiGENCI, Adelaide University. Her research uses single-cell, spatial and multi-omic approaches to understand tumour heterogeneity, epigenetic regulation and cancer evolution. She is particularly interested in endometriosis-associated ovarian cancers and in understanding the molecular changes that underpin their development and progression. Nora is a co-developer of DOMINO, a spatial transcriptomics approach for resolving spatially distinct cell states and tumour microenvironments. Her work combines computational method development with patient-derived models and spatial profiling to better understand ovarian cancer biology and identify clinically relevant disease features.
