Professor Chee Khoon Lee is a consultant medical oncologist with extensive clinical and research expertise, sub-specialising in thoracic and gynaecological cancers. He serves as Senior Staff Specialist and Director of the Medical Oncology Clinical Research Unit at St George Hospital, and Professor of Oncology at The University of Sydney. He is an NHMRC Leadership Fellow of the National Health & Medical Research Council and Clinical Lead at the University of Sydney Clinical Trials Centre.

 Professor Lee is the study chair or co-chair of seven investigator-initiated, multi-center clinical trials exploring innovative therapies and treatment strategies for thoracic and gynaecological malignancies. Additionally, he has served as principal investigator in over 100 pharmaceutical industry-sponsored studies.

 He has contributed to various advisory committees for national and international cancer clinical trial collaborative groups, including ANZGOG and GCIG. His commitment to academic mentorship is reflected in his supervision of 14 PhD candidates, guiding research in clinical trial methodology and meta-analysis.
