Dr Frank Lin, MB ChB, PhD, FRACP, FAIDH, is an academic medical oncologist and clinical informatician at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney, with research appointments as Senior Research Fellow at SPHERE Cancer Academic Group (UNSW), Garvan Institute of Medical Research, and NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre (University of Sydney), and Associate Professor at the University of Auckland. His research focuses on genomic precision oncology, cancer informatics, and AI applications in decision support, medical imaging, natural language processing, electronic medical records analytics, and biomarker development. He serves as co-investigator on biomarker-directed trials in the MoST and MoST-Pancreas programs, leads the development of the TOPOGRAPH and ARTICANZ databases and POTTR precision oncology trial matching, and co-leads the MRFF-funded precision oncology molecular MDT team at POWH. He contributes to multiple molecular tumour boards and holds multiple co-chief investigator grants. He currently serves as Deputy Editor of JCO Clinical Cancer Informatics.
