Dr Liz Connolly is a sarcoma medical oncologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne, and a Sarcoma Research Fellow at the Children’s Medical Research Institute. After completing a sarcoma fellowship at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, she undertook doctoral research focused on proteomic approaches to addressing unmet clinical needs in sarcoma. Dr Connolly holds international leadership roles in sarcoma research and advocacy, including serving on the CTOS Board of Directors, the executive committee of the US National Leiomyosarcoma Foundation, and the ESMO Young Oncologist Committee. She has a clinical and research interest in genetic predisposition and led an international consensus meeting on Genetic predisposition in sarcoma: clinical implications and management, in Florida, November 2025.
